Coming soon to Lethbridge

Mustin’s Pizzeria

A new pizza place for Lethbridge, Alberta.

Good pizza. Fair price. Done right. We’re building it now. The dough, the menu, the room, the screens. Get on the list and you’ll know the opening date before anyone else.

Not open yet. No date announced. We’ll tell this list first.

01

Priced like you live here

About 90% of the fancy-pizza experience for about 75% of the price. You shouldn’t need a coupon to feel like you got a fair deal.

02

Choice where it counts

Four sizes plus a kids size. Build your own if you want. A short menu we can cook properly beats a long one we can’t.

03

Independent, not a chain

One restaurant, in Lethbridge. Nobody in another province deciding what goes on your pizza.

The pizza

Start here

The classics done properly, plus a few we think Lethbridge will get attached to. Toppings listed plainly, because that’s what you actually want to know.

Pepperoni

Tomato sauce, mozzarella, and generous pepperoni.

Canadian

Pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, mozzarella and tomato sauce.

Meat Works

Pepperoni, ham, bacon and sausage with mozzarella and tomato sauce.

Chicken Bacon Ranch

Chicken, bacon, mozzarella, ranch-style sauce and a light finish.

Deluxe

Pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onions and mozzarella.

Garden

Mushrooms, green peppers, onions, tomatoes and mozzarella.

Still in the oven

These are built and being tested. Some make opening day. Tell us which ones matter and you’ll help decide.

Prairie Fire

Pepperoni, bacon, jalapeño and red onion with a hot-honey finish. The one we’re most attached to.

Our pick

Hot Honey Pepperoni

Pepperoni, mozzarella and a hot-honey finish.

In testing

Buffalo Chicken

Chicken and mozzarella with buffalo sauce and a ranch finish.

In testing

BBQ Bacon Chicken

Chicken, bacon, red onion and mozzarella with BBQ sauce.

Build your own

Start with cheese. Pick your sauce and your toppings. No upsell maze.

Always

Sizes

Four sizes, plus a 6-inch for kids. The 16 is a proper family pizza, not a 14 with optimism.

12″Two
14″Family
16″The big one

More than pizza

The rest of the table

Everything here comes off the same dough or the same oven, which is how we keep it quick without it getting worse.

Cheesy Bread

Our dough, our cheese, eight pieces. Order two, because the sharing plan never survives contact with the table.

Garlic Bread

Simple, hot, does the job. Not everything needs a reinvention.

Cinnamon Bites

Warm cinnamon-sugar dough bites with icing dip.

Loaded Cheesy Bread

Cheesy bread with real pizza toppings on it.

In testing

Garlic knots & stuffed breadsticks

Both are in testing. Both use the same dough we cold-ferment for the pizza. If they’re good enough they’re on the menu, and if they’re not, they aren’t.

In testing

And yes, we’re working on wings

Everyone asks. Every single person. We’re working through it properly instead of buying a deep fryer and hoping for the best. Boneless bites are in testing too. Get on the list and we’ll tell you the moment it’s sorted.

Working on it

Dirty sodas

Pop, upgraded

Take a Coke or a Pepsi. Add flavour syrup, a bit of citrus, and cream if you want it. That’s the whole idea. It sounds like something a teenager invented at a gas station, and then you try one and order a second.

If you’ve never had one, start with Cherry Vanilla. If you have, you already know why this section exists and you’re probably annoyed that nowhere in Lethbridge makes them yet.

Every one of these gets built on Coke or Pepsi. You pick.

Vanilla Cherry Vanilla Coconut Lime Raspberry Cream Orange Cream Build your own. Pick two, add cream

More flavours are in testing. The ones people actually order are the ones we keep. Stocking fifteen syrups so the menu looks impressive is how you end up with fourteen dusty bottles and one that runs out.

Coke person? Pepsi person?

Both. We’re carrying both. Most restaurants sign with one company and then make you live with it, which is a strange thing to decide on a customer’s behalf.

We’re still sorting out how the fountain works. If it comes to it, we’ll haul in 2L bottles ourselves and pour them by hand. Nobody’s getting told which one they like.

Both. Final answer.

After work

Get off work.
Grab a pizza.
Catch the game.

Six screens, put where you can actually see them. Sound stays off most nights, and on for the ones that deserve it. Cold draft, a short tap list, and a 10-inch that arrives fast enough to eat before the second period.

No house team

Flames and Oilers get equal billing. We’re not decorating the place in one team’s colours and making half the room feel like visitors. Your family can sort that out at home like everyone else.

Three taps, not thirty

Something mainstream, something light, and something from close to home. A short list we can keep fresh beats a long one that sits.

A pizza place with beer

The beer is there because it goes with pizza and a game. You’ll feel the difference the moment you walk in with your kids.

Trades, healthcare, shift work, students: the late afternoon is built for you. Counter service, and nobody expects you to change out of your work clothes.

Families

Bring the kids. Actually.

Plenty of places say families are welcome and then seat you next to a wall of televisions at bar height. We’re building around proper tables, light you can actually see your food in, and a room where a four-year-old isn’t a problem.

A kids pizza that’s simple

Six inch. Cheese or pepperoni. That’s it, so there’s no long topping negotiation while everyone’s hungry.

Drinks that aren’t an afterthought

Dirty sodas and a proper fountain get the same billing as the beer. Nobody should feel like the odd one out for not drinking.

A 16-inch solves dinner

Big pizza, cheesy bread, a 2L. Feeding four people shouldn’t require a spreadsheet.

Built for Lethbridge

One restaurant.
One city.

One independent pizza place, opening in Lethbridge, run by people who’ll be standing in it every day.

We’re new here as a business, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that the decisions get made in this city. The toppings, the prices, the sizes, which game is on the big screen.

Follow the build

Dough tests, the oven arriving, pizzas that didn’t work, the sign going up. If you like watching a place get built, this is the interesting part.

Straight answers

The questions
people actually ask

If you found this page by asking something out loud, here is the short version.

What new restaurants are opening in Lethbridge?

Mustin’s Pizzeria is one of them. An independent pizza restaurant, currently being built, in Lethbridge, Alberta. No opening date has been announced yet, and we’re not going to guess at one in public.

Where can I get a dirty soda in Alberta?

A few places around town do them. Ours will be a full menu of them, not one or two options tacked onto a drinks list, and every single one can be built on Coke or Pepsi. Not open yet.

Is there a pizza place in Lethbridge that shows the game?

That’s what we’re building. Six screens, placed where you can see them, with the sound off unless it’s a game that earns it. Flames and Oilers get equal billing and there’s no house team. It’s a pizza restaurant with the game on, rather than a sports bar that sells pizza.

Is there anywhere in Lethbridge that has both Coke and Pepsi?

There will be. Most restaurants sign with one company and that settles it for everyone who walks in. We’re carrying both, and if the fountain arrangement doesn’t allow it we’ll buy bottles at retail and pour them by hand.

Is Mustin’s a chain?

No. One restaurant, in one city, independently owned. Not a franchise, not a location of something bigger.

Somewhere in Lethbridge to take the kids for pizza?

Built for it. Proper tables you can get a high chair up to, a six inch kids pizza that’s cheese or pepperoni and nothing complicated, and drinks that aren’t all beer. Once we’re open.

Questions

What people ask

When do you open?

No date yet. When there is one, the First Slice list gets it first, before the sign goes up and before it hits social.

Where in Lethbridge?

Not announced yet. When the location is confirmed it goes on this page the same day.

What’s a dirty soda?

Coke or Pepsi, mixed with flavour syrups, citrus, and cream if you want it. Cherry vanilla is the usual gateway. Big in Utah and Idaho, and slowly catching on up here.

Coke or Pepsi?

Yes. We’re carrying both, and every dirty soda can be built on either one. If that means buying bottles at retail, so be it. Half of Lethbridge isn’t getting told their pop is the wrong one.

Will you have wings?

We’re working on it. We won’t put them on the menu until we can cook them properly in the oven we’ve got, and we’re not buying a deep fryer just to say we have wings.

Is it kid-friendly, or is it a sports bar?

Kid-friendly. There’s beer and there are screens, but it’s a pizza restaurant first. Proper tables, a kids pizza, and the sound off unless it’s a game that warrants it.

Will you deliver?

That’s the plan, and we’re sorting out the details. Pickup pricing will stay fair either way. We’re not going to quietly make direct orders the worse deal.

Are you a chain?

No. One restaurant, in Lethbridge, independently owned.
